Old Town is where Bluffton's story began, and it remains the heart of the community today. Roughly 60 acres of historic structures, independent businesses, and natural beauty along the May River bluff. It's the kind of place you wander without a plan and discover something wonderful around every corner.
Calhoun Street
The main artery of Old Town, lined with art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants beneath a cathedral canopy of live oak trees. Best explored on foot at a slow pace.
Church of the Cross
One of South Carolina's most photographed landmarks — a Gothic Revival church perched on the May River bluff, built in 1857 and miraculously spared during the Civil War.
Heyward House
